Awesome. I have been working on one for the past couple of years off and on. Looks great. In case you are interested Hot Rod magazine back in 1979 did a feature article on this car. I don't recall what month exactly, maybe May, I would have to dig into my reference pile to find it.

With mine I took a 1985 Budweiser ProStock T-Bird and used the chassis, modified, to fit. I will post some pictures of my progess sometime this weekend.

Where do you get the body? Model kit or resin from Don at Reliable Resin? Don does good work.

I look forward to seeing your photos.

I am still trying to get the back tires correct as these are to small. The body is from a mpc kit. I have seen Don's on ebay but wanted to try this one first. If I can not get this one to look right I might try one from Don.

You have inspired me.

I like the look of yours much better. I am going to redo the chassis to get the proper size tires to fit. I have a set from a 1/24 Bob Glidden T Bird that I might be able to fit with lots of cutting.

Thanks

Its great that I have inspired somebody. Hope it it works out for you.

It takes a good bit to get it to fit. I narroowed the chassis, shoertened the chassis, had to cut the cage down in lentgh and height. Dug a 340 out of a AAR Cuda since the car was a small block Mopar. Made the intake manifold. Like I said, it is alot of work but, it gratifing when the cutting is done. By the way, I also used the tires out of the '66 Nova Prostreet kit on the rear. Fills the wheel well nicely I think. I will keep an eye on yours. I need to get back to mine but I have a few things in front it.
