What is the best way to paint a model car

i just bought a 67` chevelle and was wondering what the best way 2 paint it is (i do not havve a air brush system)

I have our own Treehugger Dave's rattle can primer bookmarked.. so an easy answer for you! Besides, he's much too modest to post the link here himself.

Seriously, that recent link to another post on this forum has probably all you could ask for about painting a car body with spray cans from some of the most talented people in the hobby. I may just go read it again and learn something new.
