I have a Paasche DA300R Compressor/Regulator and I want to put a "T" between the Compressor and the R75 Regulator that will allow me to run a 4' hose terminated with a DB32 or equivalent fitting from the "T" to an Air Tank that has a Tire Valve fitting. If anyone could supply the Part Numbers I'd sure appreciate it as I have emailed 2 dealers and heard zip back.

It sounds as though you are wanting to use your air compressor to fill a tank, correct? I doubt that it will, given that Passche's catalog lists the DA300R as having an automatic shutoff, which would shut down the aircompressor once the air flow is stopped (this happens with any non-bleeder airbrush or spray gun, releasing the air control button/trigger stops the airflow though the airbrush, making for a head of pressure behind that).

This sort of shutoff is used a lot with small air compressors that lack enough power to continue compressing air that has no place to go, even for a brief moment of time. Unless the pressure switch is adjustable (and I am betting that it is not?) then likely it won't do much good to adapt an air tank to it.

Just my two-cents worth here.

Art's brought up a good point, But what can and prob will happen (depending on the tank size) is you'll gain a little time before the compressor will build to the max pressure and shut down. Due to the time it takes to compress air in a given volume. The best thing that will happen is it should take the pulse out of the air flow and you'll also be able to adjust the air pressure to what ever lower pressure you want. It'll also trap moisture the compressor makes. I haven't use that particular compressor, but I'm guessing it has either 1/8th or 1/4th NPT. If you take it to the local hardware store they can match up just about anything you need to accomplish what you want. I'd say you will only benefit from doing it. :)

Art, Thanks for the reply. I know that the DA300R has Auto cutoff. It is set for ~90 psi. Bill is correct in that I wish to use the "Storage Tank" to extend the cycle time of the Compressor in just the same way as any Compressor/Tank System works. The Tank works like a Battery and the Compressor is the Charging System.

Again Thanks for the feedback.
