jhuntsman Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 lowered the body down over the frame, z-d the rear end and cut the front axle to lower the front. thinking about geting a resin axle and chopped grille shell.

jbwelda Posted August 25, 2009 Posted August 25, 2009 sharp! r&d unique metal dropped front axle: http://shop.psfhobbies.com/product.sc;jses...p;categoryId=22 gotta replace those radius arms with trimmed paper clips or straight pins though, but the axle might be perfect for what youre doing.
jhuntsman Posted June 16, 2010 Author Posted June 16, 2010 i got burned out on the mustang, the ferrari, and the rsx drag car so i broke out the 32 again. had to rework the rear axle again. i kept breaking it while handling so i drilled it and sleeved the axle tubes. i got the grille shell chopped and found the color im going to use on the body. its testors one coat lime ice. the frame and motor are going to be a model master color called go mango. heres a few pics.
Agent G Posted June 17, 2010 Posted June 17, 2010 I'm lovin' this! Can you show more of how you did the Z? G
jhuntsman Posted June 18, 2010 Author Posted June 18, 2010 agentz, ill get some pics of the z up soon. its not quite done yet i still have to close in the part of the floor and do a little mud work. it was really simple to do just cut the frame in half and i used some rectangle styrene to connect the two pieces. havent had a problem with it breaking. once i close in the front of the floor it will be even stronger.
