Nick Winter Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 (edited) Well in the beginig of the goin' ons of this here tale of them Dukes, the General Lee Gots swamped, so them Duke Boys borrowed Daisy's Jeep, while chasin' them boys that Boss Hogg and Roscoe done hired to fake rob Boss' bank, and blame it on them Duke Boys, them bad fellers done made the Dukes wreck cousin Daisy's jeep, so they called Cooter, he didn't have his wrecker runnin' so he borrowed one from his buddy, well fished them Dukes and Ol' Daisy's jeep out of the ditch and hauled em' back to the Hazzard Garage. Any way I got this Jeep off Bob Baunman, it's the 2005 movie release, I'm going to use some parts from my old built up that I did when I was around 8-9, when I first started building. I managed to pull some extra parts out that I can use on my two upcoming jeep I'm gonna build, My Jeep FJ route van, and Jeep Dispatcher postal jeep. Here's Daisy's TV Jeep Ol' Cooter haulin' Daisy's Jeep back to the Garage (My old jeep) Edited September 3, 2009 by Dukefan69'

I got a chance to day to do my painting so I painted all 6 colors, plastikote semi gloss White, armour coat & duplicolor black, testors gloss light blue, testors gloss red, testors silver, and testors flat brown. I assembled the transfer case, grlle and roll bar, I decaled the hood fully and cleared the hood rollbar and grille. 62rebel Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 coming along very nicely, Nick; one fault of the original kit is the very fragile axles. be very careful handling this when it's finished! AMT/MPC abused their licensing referring to this Jeep as accurate for Daisy's, though... Monogram's CJ7 would be closer if you could find one. great job so far with this, get it finished! more pics!
Jordan White Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 AMT/MPC abused their licensing referring to this Jeep as accurate for Daisy's, though... Oh I agree, since the kit is actually a CJ-5 (which I'm sure you figured out already!)

Hey Kevin, I thought you might b interested, in knowing I own general number 53 AND roscoes car number 53, thats right both cars are number 53, I am working on getting the 71 roadrunner that Daisy drove in the first season bought now and one of her jeeps that was used later in the series for my wife to drive.
