iBorg Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 Take a look at roddersjournal.com and look in their back issues. I think it was featured about two years ago. You may also want to try to locate the Larry Davis book Gasser Madness. Mike

dencon Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 I have seen and taken pics of the "A" car in the dark blue paint two different times. I really do not know if there is much difference between A and B. I do know that there was a point in time that they would run both cars at many events. This car is unrestored and owned by the son of one of the guys. I think it is Cook's son. They never run this car because it has never been updated, so it does not meet the safety requirements. They brought it out to the line at this NHRA Nostalgia race in Phoenix a few months ago. That is how we got the "At The Line" shot. I believe that the "B" car is owned by Johnny Rocca of "Ironhorse" 50 Merc Pro Mod fame. He ran that car in the 80s and 90 so it had been updated for racing. Here are a few of my pics. Hope that helps. Matt
