GrandpaMcGurk Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 Hi folks, I'm new to this forum and you are having so much fun I was wondering if I could play too? If you're interested, I have a couple of on going 1/6th builds on my workbench. One is a radically hammered Willys Pickup and the other is a retro styled blown "streetable" coupe. Let's see if I can load a pic (remember I'm a newbie here) of a 1/25th body next to the 1/6th for comparison.
Foxer Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 That thing is HUGE! I didn't know anything was available in that scale ... fill us in.

Mike I stuck this post in the resin section because parts will have to made due to the lack of aftermarket parts in this scale, I'll be doing the actual builds in the Big Boyz section. The body in the pic is one of those Wally World R/C cars. Scale isn't too far off and that makes it a great starting point. At 62 I prefer stuff that isn't too tiny for me to fiddle with.....there is plenty of room in 1/8th & 1/6th for that extra bit of detailing. I'll be scratch building some parts, casting a couple and rattling Daytona Tim's cage for some printed parts. Should be a fun and informative build.
