Do we already have too many build-off's going? Or are you guy's ready for two more?

First, this idea came to me from Kustom's thread about those crazy Japanese-tuner cars with wings and tails large enough to have a picknick on. Call it the Bozosuku build-off! Here's the idea. Take any car you want, doesn't matter what it is, and build it into one of these wild rides. You can use any material you want to build up the body kit's. Paper, plastic, putty, whatever. Give it the wildest paint job you can think of. And go crazy with the exhaust pipes!

Second idea, is Death Race build-off. Again take any car you want and just simply give it armor plating and weapons! Who's on?

Let me know if the tuner buildoff is a go. I've got one in the works that will blow your mind. When the tuner thing dropped in popularity I already had the car started. It was a project meant to confuse you as to just what it is.

Nice, look's like the rear whale-tail is from the Ford Escort Cosworth model? I had one on an 89 CRX a while back.

ahh those were the days

i remember when those cosworhts RS2000s were a force to be reckoned with in the rally fields

(werent they sold in the US as merkurs ?)

close, but no, this wing came with the revell ford focus SVT tuner

it fits extremely well on the RSX though

What's big and obnoxious is what's up front! How about a transverse mounted, injected HEMI?!

I have an awesome Idea for a build-off...Monster Trucks!

I'm not talking your standard monster trucks that you see at the local Civic Center, but something crazy and wild where you take the frame/suspension/wheels from a monster truck kit, and add a body of your choice, and perhaps even expand on the chassis itself. Or if you're willing, you could build your own complete monster truck from scratch. Heck, it could even have tracks if you were so inclined.

I like those old Cosworth's. The ONLY Ford cars I liked at the time, still like today. I read some where that those cars that had the wale-tail had less MPG than those with the tail. Plus, the ones with the tail were stolen more frequently than those without the tale. Thus, car insurance was higher on the wale-tailed Cosworth's.

Back when I had my 88 CRX Si, I had once obtained a Cosworth style wale-tail that was made for the Honda's, but nobody in my area knew how to fit it. ;)

So, my car never had one. Which was a pitty really cause it made the CRX look pretty sweet!

Nice, I like that! Yep, that wing was definitely available for the 89 CRX. And in one of those big European style tuner magazines, I can't recall if it was Max Power, Fast Cars, or what, but there was a sweet silver CRX that had the Mugen Pro.2 body kit, and that Cosworth wale-tail on it and the combo was superb! I was in love and jealous with it cause I also had a silver Si and wanted that kit so bad.

Hey guys!

It has long been a dream of mine to have a monster truck build off! I am in a Monster Truck Mood so I think we should do it! Only problem, I don't know how many monster truck fans there are in the model world.

I think considering that Bigfoot was primarily the only name brand Monster truck made, we should make our own monster trucks. Own names, Paint Jobs, etc. Maybe allow the different bigfoot models, and I think AMT made a Grave Digger and TMN Turtle model, Revell has that nice Snap Kit of Grave Digger, so we allow those but we aim and hope for original monster trucks. I dunno... any interest out there?

I am definitely up for the Death Race build off! If we do one lets open a thread and have a build date!

I already mentioned it on the first page, must not have seen it. :D
