Fresh from the paint booth, shot some flames on a '55 Chevy

I just knocked this '55 Chevy pro mod out over the weekend for a customer of mine. I believe it's going to see duty as a drag slot car. Paint is House of Kolor Kandy Burple over Orion silver and covered in flames.

To mask my flames off I use liquid masking material thinned down and I shoot it through my airbrush.

And yes, my patterns are done freehand, no two of my flame jobs are the same. I've developed a new technique where I can get uniform flames the same pattern side to side, I'll show how I do it when I get a new how to done hopefully soon.

Yes I painted the '06 Mustang that was at tne NNL East show, Bob Pettine purchased it from me and it even shows on his contest card that he gave me full credit for the paint work. I scratch built the cowl induction hood, painted the body color, flamed it and shot the clear. Bob did all the assembly work himself.
