Also, what is the easiest wasy to mock up a full rollcage so it all fits in the body interior? I mean what can I use to bend temporarilly into the rollcage then match those bents with the styrene rod. Thanks !

Hi Riz

Roll cages are generaly 3" in Diameter in real life. So if you scale it down to 1/20th it would .150 on an inch rod you would need. Take 3 and divide by 20 and you get .15.

hey riz straight line has a tuterol on roll cages that might help. try this www.straightlinemodeler.org

3" is a little big for roll cages. Most real race cars are between 1.625" and 2" diameter tubing. If you can find some .093 styrene tubing or .125 even that would be more realistic. Get some floral wire from a craft store to put inside the tubing. It helps retail the bends and can be used to peg pieces together.
