jjsipes Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 Just received my latest issue of Mopar Collectors Guide and found this. This is awesome. Will have to make a model of one of these. They will building street and strip cars in a contiuation series along side the Mr Norms Cuda and Challengers. Can't wait to see one in person.
caine440 Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 I saw that one also, and thought it was a very nice tribute to Ronnie.
mopar01lee Posted May 1, 2010 Posted May 1, 2010 im planning a build of this car now ...i have my resin guy makin the trans kit now as i type.... there will be a curbside done first to show parts.. and the trans kit will be avalible to buy....hood, grill, tail panel, and maybe engine mod parts,,,,,
AMT Pacemakers Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 Love S&M!!! Just can't seem to like this car, to me it just looks odd... CCSS
Rick R Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 (edited) I can relate... The Challenger is a nmuch larger visage than the originals were and large masses of solid color, as in the red of the S&M cars, are a 'hard sell'. There were many of them at SEMA last November, the majority were just 'okay'. The absolute worst was done by a shop in Texas (where else...) at the direction of George Barris, called the 'Red Demon' or something, just painful to look at! Edited May 2, 2010 by Rick R
caine440 Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 Maybe a thicker white stripe at the bottom would help narrow up the broad red sections of the sides. Not sure, but I do like the car and building one would be fun.
AMT Pacemakers Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 Yes, maybe a revised paint job and some different wheels, the 'old school" Keystone need to be replaced with something newer. CCSS
caine440 Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 I like the overall look of the keystones but they do not seem large enough.
Mopar Mike Posted May 3, 2010 Posted May 3, 2010 The new Mopar Action Aug '10 has the S&M Cuda on the cover and an article in it. Mopar To Ya Mike
