I know Ive seen tip on window tinting somewhere on this forum, and Ive searched for it, but I cant find it. Ive tried that "Tint" spray paint once, with really bad results. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

All I do is paint the INSIDE of the window black. Works good if you don't want to be able to see through the window.

Here are a couple of examples:

I thought about that, I blacked out the headlights and taillights. I want some light to come thought the windows, not a very dark tint just what would look a little darker than factory. I also considered getting some scraps from the tinter at work, but I dont see him very often, and I dont know how well it would work.

Why not go to an auto parts store and buy some window tinting material? That's what I used to do. You can also go to places that do window tints and ask for their scraps. Most of the places are happy to give it to you. Just explain to them what you're going to do with it.

Tamiya Smoke (bottle X-19 and spray TS-71)

I use this with good results, the bottle stuff can be airbrushed and used as a wash when thinned down.

The rear windows and sunroof when done with the spray, mask and spray in light mists
