Well, I finally got around to doing some more work on this model from last year . . . and although I am short a couple of little details, it's looking pretty finished to me . . .

That REVELL BLACK WIDOW kit is fabulous . . . it's quickly gotten on my top ten list right along with the 69 NOVA.

Looks awesome as usual! I hope someday to be able to weather half as good as that. Your a true artist when it comes to rust!

Another master piece Virg. The rust is spot on. It looks real enough to pass as a 1:1 ;):blink:

Thanks, chaps . . . no this one has not been used in a diorama, although it could fit perfectly in one . . .

I took another round of better pics . . .

Thanks, and yes, I often wear safety glove just in case I poke my finger with this rusty metal---oh, wait, it's plastic!!!

It's definitely a trueism of Cranky's work, the words "rust never sleeps".

Your builds just knock me out! ;)

Wow! Awesome work. I tell you, that really takes talent. Anyone, what with the paints, polishes and polishing kits can do a spit shined new car, but it really takes talent to make plastic look like rusted metsl, and you have done it!

That looks like ######, and I mean that in the nicest possible way. Excellent technique. You have the touch. I wonder why real cars don't look as cool as your model when they rust out like that.
