Twist67 Posted October 1, 2009 Posted October 1, 2009 Hi there, I just started on building an AMT 67 Chevy SS427.Gold metallic with brown interior.Painted the body with some sort of automotive color from the rattlecan and added a first coat of clear.Chassis painted with Tamiya flatblack over Tamiya primer.I´ll do the interior with Vallejo modelcolor, add some photoetched parts from modelcar garage. The engine will be wired as usual. Here are some first pictures More pictures will follow soon after the interior is painted. Regards,Chris
Monty Posted October 1, 2009 Posted October 1, 2009 Lookin' good so far! I noticed you did the modifications to make poseable steering. My build of this kit is about 1/3 complete, but I've never tried the steering mod before. Any chance you could post close-up pics and some notes? Thanks!
Harold Posted October 1, 2009 Posted October 1, 2009 Lookin' good...every time I buy one of these kits, the chassis, engine compartment and floorpan seem to end up under different GM cars from that era. Can't wait to see yours finished.
