buck smallwood Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 ive been useing createx airbrush paint on my models with good sucess but i was wondering what i could use to thin it down a bit ,if anyone knows any help would be great... BUCK...
Brendan Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 On their web site, it says they are a water based paint. You could try thinning it with alcohol or just try using water. I have never used this paint before. Give it a try and see what works.
GrandpaMcGurk Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 I use quite a lot of their air brush paint for full size murals, art work etc. For what it's worth I've always thinned them with plain old tap water......be aware, it can make them a bit more transparent depending on much you thin it.
Cornpatch Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 I have used Createx Air Brush Ready Paints for several years now, as far as thinning them, you usually dont have to. As Grandpa McGurk says plain old tap water works great. Createx also makes a thinner specially for there paints. You can find this at WWW.TCPGLOBAL.COM it also works quite good. Jeff
