JayC Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 I have been searching quite a bit for some info on the '65 Dodge Coronet 500. I've visited quite a few sites but haven't found any real info. Wikipedia doesn't have anything useful about the 500. Does anyone here have any good info on it? Since I have the model I want to get to know the car better, but am having a hard time doing it. I guess since the model by Polar Lights was released in three colors those are the colors the car was produced in? Were there any other colors? Does anyone know what DupliColor would be a close match for the original Coronet 500 colors? I haven't even been able to find that many good high res images. I found some smaller ones but I'm looking for larger ones so I can see all the details better. I found one or two shots of an engine, but it was modified (and smaller images). I'm looking for some high res images of a stock 500 inside and out (hopefully one restored to spec). I've tried both Yahoo and Google image searches.
RodBurNeR Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 www.google.com you may find things about convertibles or hardtops...a lot of the same stuff applies to both.
Harry P. Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 Lots of photos here: http://motors.shop.ebay.com/Cars-Trucks-/6...p;Model=Coronet

I've been through pages of results on Google and Yahoo. I know I probably missed something, that is why I am asking here. I don't usually ask on a forum for help finding general info that can be found on a search engine unless I'm stuck. Edited October 12, 2009 by JayC
JayC Posted October 12, 2009 Author Posted October 12, 2009 Lots of photos here: http://motors.shop.ebay.com/Cars-Trucks-/6...p;Model=Coronet Thanks, Harry. I didn't think of eBay Motors. I did use Autotrader Classics. They had a few '65s, but not many.

I've been to the 62-65 Mopar site before. There is a REALLY nice yellow Coronet on there (I love yellow ). I just wish the pictures were bigger. There are a lot of nice cars on that site.
