kerc Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 I built this one in just one day, we had a big show in Puerto Rico back in 2004, and I didn't have anything new, so I decided that morning to build a model in just one day! Thankfully, my wife agreed and let me be for that day...Heehee. The idea was to present something like a real rod in progress, and not necessarily a rat rod as the "final destination". So it's kinda dirty and rusty, but not extremely so, and the wheels and engine have nice, matching paint colors. The interior is dirty by getting into the car and driving it after working on more repairs...
Jairus Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 Jose, now that is COOL! Back before the war those were called "Gow jobs". Some even had the frame lowered over the spring perches. But many looked just like what you have there... very nice and thanks for posting!
