Hey everyone! I'm starting a new build off. It's like every other build off but this one is all about Drag Imports. I was working on my tuner eclipse and I suddenly had the idea to turn it in a 4 bagner dragster. So I thought that doing a drag imports build off should be something great and unusual; engines, chassis, interiors are different than dragsters we are use to see. It sure takes more time to work on imports but im sure we (if people get in) can get very good results out of it.

I know there's another build off going on and this is why you have 8 months to complete you model.

1. It must be an imported car (Honda, Toyota, Mazda, Acura) You get the idea?

2. Must be a drag car

3. Any scale accepted

4. Must be plastic or resin

5. We want news! (Progress posts please)

6. You can do more than one model

7. I'll do another topic where you're all going to post final pictures of your projects. It will be created when i'll get enough participants.

8. YOU HAVE TIME! ENDS September 31 2010

9. Have fun

Have question for you since you brought up that 55 chassis. That's the yellow car in the box art with the clear plastic hood scoop, right? If so, does that chassis have the mufflers and exhaust molded in ?? I have the black 55 but I don't want all that exhaust on it and it would take a lot of work to remove it.

Count me in too,I have a choice of British-including a Rolls Royce!,German,Italian and Japanese cars to choose from.

This really appeals to me as I love modifying kits, just one question being as I am new here..

Is it within the rules to use an old build as a base? ie for the bodyshell.

im not sure what engine im gonna use yet. i might stick it together and see how it works out if not ill head to the parts boxes.

Yeah the stock acura engine is way to weak for a dragser if you don't add something to it. Like a turbo
