that sounds sweet. how big will the beds be? roll back or normal?

post some pictures or give more detailed information if you want true feedback.

I would say given the lack of any new wrecker kits in quite some time, there should be some interest, if the price is in line. Of course there is that "quality" issue- if it is good it will sell, if it isn't, it won't.

late model beds with wheel lifts would be great, so would some simple roll back bodies.

Probley both, wreckers and Roll backs, depends on the popularity of each.

Well I don't have pictures of ,my beds yet because they aren't to my standars yet, so I'm fixing them to get the outmost detail.

Well the price will be extremely fair, I don't do this kinda stuff for the cash I do it for the satisfaction of helping fellow modellers build awesome trucks. As far as quality is concerned I'm doing the outmost to bring as much detail as humanly possible into them.

Nick, I would DEFINATLY be interested in a Century 412 and a Rollback.

I've got the 412 almost ready because it's my personal favorite but also because it's used on alot of trucks, the roll back I'm working on.

well I'm also planning to do some truck accesories and some wrecker accesories

Sweet, what are the chances of a brush guard for the AMT 1500/3500 and the Revell Silverado?

In my estimation Eagle Claw/ Vulcan equipment shoudda been banned YEARS AGO ! Ed Shaver

Why do you say that Ed?

Can't wait.

And Ed has been around the block a time or 2 with wreckers, if he says somethin's no good then it's no good.

James , the point I was trying to convey about ANYTHING made by Vulcan is the fact that their stuff in the real world of towing is well DANGEROUS! look Ive been in the wrecker business for mabye twenty yerars . I have been an owner as well as a installer for both Holmes and Century . My former partner in the last wrecker business had a Challenger , very similar to a Century but a lot less Heavy duty . Jerr- dann can lay claim to being the first off the block with the Aluminum beds back in the late seventies . I think they always made a quality product . I also was impressed by a novel idea they had once , a spring loaded set of tandem wheels for their Roll - Backs . . The problem with all the Vulcan equipment I ever HAD to drive or work on was the fact that the design as simply flawed - PERIOD ! I simply don't trust anyones car on anything manufactured by Vulcan . I personall have nearly lost cars off one of their " Eagle - Claws " Their " Strapless " wheel lifts in the early eighties were yet annother example of novel put not yet practical engineeering !

Now some of you long time posters here have seen my work in wreckers so I can scratch build anything I want to replicate . Ive offered plans to build a Roll Back wrecker before using the Monogram / Revell F-350 Dually truck as a towing vehicle . I can make these same plans avalible to ANYONE here on the forum . P- M me and we can get together . Ed Shaver

Ed, I would definatly take you up on that, but the main problem is..........I can't scratchbuild to save my life, let alone do I have a place even remotely close to me to buy the supplies. I don't even have a place nearby to buy decent kits.

I've driven wreckers off and on for years myself and will agree 100% on this one. The only thing those are good for is scrap weight!

His other comments are right on the money too.
