Guest promodmerc Posted October 19, 2009 Posted October 19, 2009 I saw this on Tamyia's web-site http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/item.php?product-id=85082 It looks like it would come in handy for hoses and other applicaions. The other day at my LHS theh had TS-83 (metalic silver) and TS-84 (metalic gold). It was $16 a can Does anyone know what is in it. Tamyia doesn't say at this time. http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/item.php?product-id=85083 http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/item.php?product-id=85084
elan Posted October 19, 2009 Posted October 19, 2009 (edited) I think sometimes people take advantage of the fact certain products are hard to find. Even up here in the forgotten north, you can buy Tamiya paint for MSRP ($8.50) a can. Some on-line sites are selling it for $5.50 a can if you are willing to buy in bulk and don't mind the shipping costs. Let us know how the black rubber paint works, I'm interested. Chillyb1 Posted October 19, 2009 Posted October 19, 2009 I recently tried the TS-82 on the window surrounds on two Porsche models. I love it. I don't know how much you can really see in this photo but it looks fantastic in person.

The rest of the Tamyia TS paints are around $7.00. There is something special about the TS-83 & TS-84. It seems like I saw something about them somewhere but I don't remember where & what was so special about it the paint. I want to say the metalic silver has actual silver and the metalic gold has actual gold in it biy I don't know this for fact.
935k3 Posted October 20, 2009 Posted October 20, 2009 The TS-83 and TS-84 are like Alclad and are to sprayed over a gloss black base.
