Nova-ss Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 Does anyone make a '73 or '74 Nova body in resin? Just wonderin'! I wished there was,but don't believe there is a resin version of that nova.it can be made out of the 69 thru 72 version of the nova.but there is mods to be made to the body.I hope some one know if there is....good luck,Chris
Len Woodruff Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 I would like one too. Especially from the new Revell tool. That hard would be the bumpers and getting the lights on the rear correct. The grill could be photo etched. Someone did one years ago using the 74 Mustang Bumpers as a start.

Bumpers,Grille, Taillights and interior patterns would probably be the toughest parts.....front fenders are the same but need to add fillerpanels at forward edge on outer sides of headlights, rear 1/4 windows would have to be re-shaped, and vent windows removed but IIRC that's about it. This is a project I plan to do in the future, a resin version would sure simplify things. This is the parts car in my garage getting stripped and then junked. I can't remember if it's a 73 OR 74 but it's a donor for my 71 2door project. The grille and bumper don't look easy to reproduce in scale. Edited November 5, 2009 by novadose71
Guest promodmerc Posted November 5, 2009 Posted November 5, 2009 Rob, That be a '74. '73 did not have the rubber bumperettes.
