jeffinvt Posted November 5, 2009 Posted November 5, 2009 Ever since I was a kid I have loved Audi as a make, I have owned many and now have a A6 twin turbo with a 6 speed mannual. As no kits are available for the ones I have owned I thought I would build a the kit I do have but with a twist. The body and chassis are Tamiyas old Quattro coupe, and the rest that you see was hacked from the Revell R8 kit. Here is the basic idea... Wheels from the Opel Astra touring car... Gonna go with the "storm trooper"look, something about a white car with black rims looks tough to me. The R8 engine room is much narrower than the 87, so I am currently working on bridging the gaps.

Dragline Posted November 5, 2009 Posted November 5, 2009 Hmppphh, the only foreign car I have ever owned happened to be an 86 4000S. 2.0 5 speed. Cool car. Completely Volkswagon if I remember. I could swap VW parts that were waaaaay cheaper. Then, July 26th 1997, I got hit from behind at 60mph. Jaws of life to get me out. Not a scratch. Crumple zones I think. Audi models seem hard to come by. I'll watch this one. Bob F
