Greg Cullinan Posted November 8, 2009 Posted November 8, 2009 I saw this built as a model in a magazine. I woud like to do it myself.I'm unsure if it's a 48 ford vert but can find out from research.I would like to know if anyone has seen these decals(lightning bolts) available?
FloridaBoy Posted November 8, 2009 Posted November 8, 2009 I would venture a guess that it is the car in "Grease". To me it looks like a 46-48 Merc, but using a Revell 48 Ford Convertible will be a good kit to start with, but you will need to fabricate the grille, headlights and decals/trim. It is a neat car to model....I never thunk to build one. Ken "FloridaBoy" Willaman
BigGary Posted November 8, 2009 Posted November 8, 2009 The South Central Indiana Modelers Assn. show in Oct. '08 had a car entered like what you're describing. That modeler hand painted the silver lightning over flat white and cleared with gloss. Not my style, but that's just me. Gary
