Greg Cullinan
I saw this built as a model in a magazine. I woud like to do it myself.I'm unsure if it's a 48 ford vert but can find out from research.I would like to know if anyone has seen these decals(lightning bolts) available? FloridaBoy
I would venture a guess that it is the car in "Grease". To me it looks like a 46-48 Merc, but using a Revell 48 Ford Convertible will be a good kit to start with, but you will need to fabricate the grille, headlights and decals/trim. It is a neat car to model....I never thunk to build one. Ken "FloridaBoy" Willaman
BigGary
The South Central Indiana Modelers Assn. show in Oct. '08 had a car entered like what you're describing. That modeler hand painted the silver lightning over flat white and cleared with gloss. Not my style, but that's just me. Gary
