ale8oneboy Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 Well it's pretty much finished. I dropped the exhaust system. I wasn't digging it dumping out in front of the rear wheels. For now we're running open headers. Wake'n up the neighbors! Notice a lot of kits now days don't give specs like they use too. When I was a kid, you could learn a little background from the front of the instructions. The instructions on this one specs the motor as a V8. So I'm gonna fill in the blanks. It's 383 Stroker Motor with a Edelbrock dress up kit. Backed up by a 4 speed trans with a Hurst shifter. Alright enough for dreaming. This is my first completed build in a long time. Hopefully it won't be my last again for a while. There are a few things I could go back and redo on this one. But I'm waiting to re-hone some of my skills before doing so. Not sure what to move onto next. I've got a few kits, here and there. The next one you see from me may be a 1:25 Grave Digger kit. Been thinking about maybe doing a sleeper muscle car. Notice a lot of the guys doing some grocery-getter sixers. Anyways. Check it out. You can see the build pictures here: 55 Chevy Truck - On the Workbench
