bigphoto Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 Hey gang, Did anyone ever produce a 1/12 model of a 67-8 Gt500?
DaytonaTim Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 TDR Innovations does make a 1/12th scale Eleanor Mustang These pictures are for a 1/24th scale test print of the model that was done before we manufactured it in 1/12th scale I know it is not exactly what you asked for, but it is close
bigphoto Posted November 20, 2009 Author Posted November 20, 2009 Actually I was looking for an engine to replace the one in the Trumpeter GT40 as it needs help to represent an FE
ZIL 111V Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 Years or scale not matching for plastic kits, that where made Back in 1985, Revell did the 1/12th 1965 Mustang Shelby GT 350: Was the original 60's ex Renwal 1/12 th, '65 Mustang 2+2 kit , tuned to shelby look. 70's Japanese Nichimo's 1968 Shelby GT500 would be the closest in...1/16th! ....Both kit are quite pricey. ....Sure would be nice to see the 1/12th '65 Mustang kit back
DaytonaTim Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 (edited) If other sources do not pan out for you Tim, I may be able to help in the near future. I have just finished the modeling of the Allison V-12 engine for TDR Innovations and plan on starting my next major design project soon. This next project will be a 427 side oiler with toploader 4 speed tranny. Though we usually design for the 8th scale world, I should be able to take it down to 1/12th scale with little problem. With the holidays coming it is hard for me to give a guestimate on the date of production but I would say it will probably be ready for distribution around Feb of 2010. We really need some good large scale Ford motors. Tim Edited November 20, 2009 by DaytonaTim
