finanlly got this done. i took a craftsman kit and opened er up. it has full engine bay and chassis. just add the amt 71 duster, a small tube 'o glue..shake well.. and vilola!(?) ebay63val.jpg

awesome subject! now how hard would it be to get a rag top option? I had a good hand in restoring this one from a horrible softball hailed and grass floored heap! I have always wanted to build one in scale.

still needs headlight rings, the blue oval was to make it feel comfortable with the others, which I also helped restore. :lol:

it wouldnt be that hard to wack the top off. finding an up top might be a challenge

true, now what glass does it take? almost looks like a Mustang windsheild would fit? or clear acetate would be easy to cut also.

for most of my kits, i recomend fabbing glass from clear acetate. for a few kits i do that have funky curves i do vacuuform glass, but its not my fav method.
