RodBurNeR Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 awesome subject! now how hard would it be to get a rag top option? I had a good hand in restoring this one from a horrible softball hailed and grass floored heap! I have always wanted to build one in scale. still needs headlight rings, the blue oval was to make it feel comfortable with the others, which I also helped restore.
jeffb Posted November 23, 2009 Author Posted November 23, 2009 it wouldnt be that hard to wack the top off. finding an up top might be a challenge
RodBurNeR Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 (edited) it wouldnt be that hard to wack the top off. finding an up top might be a challenge true, now what glass does it take? almost looks like a Mustang windsheild would fit? or clear acetate would be easy to cut also. jeffb Posted November 23, 2009 Author Posted November 23, 2009 for most of my kits, i recomend fabbing glass from clear acetate. for a few kits i do that have funky curves i do vacuuform glass, but its not my fav method.
