paulcolt Posted December 9, 2006 Posted December 9, 2006 i would love to get a set of those for a Nascar Chevy engine!
nwmud Posted December 10, 2006 Posted December 10, 2006 I think the headers are great. I am not sure what you would ask for them as i am pretty sure you have more time in them that you could sell them very cheap. But I do think there are many people who would love to have the hand made headers at any cost. I wish you the best on what ever decision you make.
Jairus Posted December 10, 2006 Posted December 10, 2006 So... advertise and get your first customer! Usually word of mouth is enough to generate plenty of business later on in this very limited a market. Your models in general are beautiful and the headers specifically are very well done. (What were you planning on charging for a set of custom made pipes anyway?) However, many of the modelers that I meet are very self-sufficient choosing to either use the kit parts or make their own if needed. Good luck in your venture if you decide to move forward!
bob paeth Posted December 10, 2006 Posted December 10, 2006 I too, have reservations on what the cost of custom headers would be. I am not saying that the price would be unreasonable for the work involved, only that the cost might be prohibitive on a limited budget or that maybe installing them in just an average build would be akin to buying a $50 saddle for a $10 horse According to the pics you posted, quality would not be an issue. Bob
PatRedmond Posted December 12, 2006 Posted December 12, 2006 I don't super detail, so no for me.....BUT I think those are EXTRA COOL !!
BIGTRUCK Posted December 12, 2006 Posted December 12, 2006 Your work is remarkable Jeff , good workmanship will always have a following...
jbwelda Posted December 14, 2006 Posted December 14, 2006 im not sure what your posting about the number of replies is about but i for one dont really do the poll thing. that said i would be in line for one or more sets of those things! they look great and im always looking for an easy way to add detail. you should maybe also think about making some in 1/8th scale for the big deuce etc. i have a big drag under restoration that would love to sport some of those.
