1320wayne Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 I have used Michael's for a while now to find useable items for detailing and today I found something new that I am excited about. When you are making the A/N fittings for oil and fuel line detailing you will most likely have hard lines that come out of the engine part before you get to the fitting and the braided line. These hard line 90 degree and 45 degree bends are usually anodized along with the fittings. I've always used soft core solder to make these hard lines in the past. Well, today I found a new item. It is hard line wire that is already anodized in blue and red. It's flexible to create the bends that you need. It will save quite a bit of time at detailing engines from here on out. The red is 20 gauge and the blue is 18 gauge. They had other sizes, large and small but these were the two that I picked out this time. Each roll went for $2.99 a piece.
Foxer Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 Looks like you are set for maybe 40 lives as far as these fittings go!
