Anyone have an amt Kenworth W925 with the tortion bar suspension they would be willing to sell? Or know of anywhere other then ebay where i might be able to find one. Must be a pretty rare kit to find these days because i cant even hardly find one on ebay.

I really like the Kenworth torsion bar suspension. I new there were some early AMT Kenworth kit(s) with this suspension but have not seen any. Does the Kenworth with the Challenge mixer have Torsion Bar Suspension? I also think there maybe a very early AMT Cab Over Kenworth that had the torsion bar. But not sure.

Some time ago I bought an aftermarket Torsion Bar Suspension from Matt Burnett with the intensions of installing it on a W900A. I wanted something that was uniquely Kenworth and the suspension system certainly fits that bill. The truck has not been built or even started yet, but I have plans to try and make the suspension work. I don't know if it will be possible yet but we'll see.

G,day , yer your right dave there was a coe kw with torsion , it was a loooong time ago and the challenger mixer was the only w model that had it . Ive tried to harrasse nigal from auslowe model parts to release the version he had many years ago , but he says it's too badly damaged to try and push out the torsion bar setup . With any luck with all the early truck stuff they are releasing they may drag out the challenger mixer ???????????????? ;) Cheer's mark.

The Mixer body from this kit can be found @ AITM. As for re-releasing the kit, the W925 molds were destroyed by modifying them into the T600 kit molds, so it's long gone. The torsion bar KW kits are rare. I'm not sure why AMT changed the susp, but they did.
