I am taking my time with this model.Trying to better my results.Did a little research since I don't think I've ever seen a 1/1 upclose before.Aiming for just a nice clean street rod.

I spray canned two coats Duplicolor grey primer and two coats Duplicolor white primer.I had a purple Tamiya picked out for this and liked the white of the primer so much that I decided to go with white.So two more coats of spray can Duplicolor white gloss.

I did the interior all black with a minimal amount of chrome trim(no pics yet).

Using the kit wheels with the lettering done white with Hot Tires paint pen(a tip I picked up on MCM forums).

Spray canned Alclad II over black gloss to some of the engine and undercarriage parts.

Looks good, Greg! I'm glad you didn't decide to go with the box art and do yellow, that is fugly! I will be watching this one, an Impala like this was in my family some years ago.
