Lownslow Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 im gleaming with pride, it was fun and had a great time restoring it
Guest Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 Very nice! Is that Revell/Monogram's kit? It looks like it, but that kit had clear, not chrome headlights. Also curious as th the diffrence in color from the engine compartment and the rest of the body. Where are the tires from? Great work!

Great work! yup, i went custom up front for a more aggressive look, the body was originally Sublime green which is why you see it in that pic. for the nail polish to go on the body was basecoated HOK passion which is the shade of the engine compartment. i like my cars to have a little of that amateur flair to them.

Peter Lombardo Posted December 21, 2009 Posted December 21, 2009 Very nice job, I really like the vinyl roof and the wheels and redlines look just perfect. I have the unbuilt AMT kit from a few years ago...I was always planing on doing it in the Plum Crazy color and if yours is an indication, it is the right color for that car. Very, very nice.
