I'm starting this AMT 1940 Ford Woodie I've had for a couple years. I'm trying to paint the engine and I've researched the model a good bit. The Zinc Chromate paint I've got from Testor's isn't anything like the paint I see on the fully restored and original 1940 Ford flatheads. It does say Green Zinc Chromate in the instructions this one from Testor's is more Yellow like Caterpillar engine paint. What should I be using? Again I'm doing this model box stock, except the wheels because it only comes with some goofy low profile wheels/tires. However for some reason there are poverty caps included but nothing to put them on.

Well... there is a yellow zinc chromate and a green zinc chromate. The green version is sometimes called interior green by military modelers.

Hope his helps,
