i got a rommel's rod kit for a x-mas presant and i want to do a box stock yet highly detailed build on it. i need a site that has pics of a stock kommand car. and i need info on hat kind of engine they used in this kit. can someone help?

I think Rommel's Rod is just a made up car... there were no cars like this used by the German army.

For me the closest real one is the Sd.Kfz.9 "FAMO", Sd.Kfz.11 3ton. Like the one in picture. If you search it, you'll find a lot of version. Agree that they made up this one, Rommel never had a truck so, he had a Horch Feldmarschall Cabriolet Kfz 21, above all when he was in the Africa Korps in Africa...

As long as you accept that there is no 1:1 vehicle, you can do whatever. As the script in the pic below says, "Rommel's Rod is Toms (Daniel) version..."
