Well, here's my current work in progress. It's an AMT kit. I am very disappointed with the fit/finish and the chassis. The rear axle, exhaust, and part of the trans are molded into it. That hasn't stopped me from saving it from my junk bin, and I have decided yo use it as my very first full kit-bash.

Here's the mod list so far....

-HURST shifter

-Centerlines

-6-71 Blower set-up

-Edelbrock valve covers

-Long-tube headers

-Rear bumper delete

-Front Bumper delete

-Rear valance molded in

-Front Valance molded in

-Shaved door handles

-Raised "Mopar Mailbox" to clear the blower

-Ducktail spoiler

-Dropped front end

Progress pics so far...

Right now, I'm waiting for the putty to dry on the ducktail so I can start sanding it.... What do you all think?

I've got a couple of them and someone offered up a great suggestion to me on how to deal with the crappy chassis details. You can swap in a chassis from the '71 Duster from AMT I think it was. I tried it and it seems like it will work and you wont have any molded in ex. or tranny tail shafts. Also the '68 Dart that's supposed to be reissues soon may also work.

Hey, thanks, guys! The ducktail is in it's last layer of filler right now, and once I sand it, I'll post up pics. If I use one of those chassis, I may wind up actually keeping this one rather than using it for parts once it's done! :D
