From Junker to Jewel!!! 1-9-07 Finished

Git this acouple weeks ago and didnt do anything till monday of this past week (didnt have a lake set up) let it set in the lake all week cause i got busy! well last night i get it out and cleaned it up, And went to town on the bad glue spots!!! And guess what! i was to do them all with out any putty!!!! Just alot of sanding!

The taillites i was only able to get one set out, the other side i needed to use a cut off wheel in the dremel and cut the back side of the lights (the bar that atatched the three lights, then drilled out the center and using a small Jewelers bit in the dremel i reemed out the inside of the bezels ever so carefull, now all i have to do is find some org taillites LOL..........

The chassis is all painted now as well as the molded in exhaust ACK!!!

I removed the molded in tailpipes cause i would like to make my own set so they can be seen.........will try and grab pics of that tonight.....once i get the new tailpipes in place.........

You're sure good at rescuing what looks like hopeless cases! :)

I've got a few that I should try to "rescue"!

BTW, did the uptop come with the car? I'd like to find one for a '64 Pontiac Bonneville that's waiting to be restored.

Didnt care for the molded in tailpipes so i cleaned them up and made my own tailpipes,wasnt sure at first how they would look, but i didnt wanna do what i normally did (which is all the way out the back)...........

Also have the stance about right too....i am happy with it atleast......

Ran out of time for "Santa's Ride" Of 2006!

Still need to polish out the body,and finish the emblems,door handles...

But like i said i ran out of time!

I detailed the grill,the side molding i did in BMF ,and added the black in the middle of the side molding.

Decided to raise the back alittle, for COOL rake..........

The 283 Looks really good in there...........wasnt much into 348's or 409's
