Sheet metal silver, black seat, flat black on the underside of the 'glass. This is from memory.

Great -- thanks! I wasn't able to find any good pics of the interior. Appreciate the info. Have a happy holiday!

I found a b&w of the interior that I will scan and load up in a day or two. The drivers door was just the bare door painted. There was no covering or aluminum on it. The passenger door was permanently closed and welded up. There are crossbraces across it to tie it together. Remember that all of the Mopar FX guys who ran altered wheelbases in '65 bent their cars! It looks like most of the interior was sprayed with trunk paint! I don't think there was any bare aluminum in it. With the trunk open you can see all the way through the windsheild. The windows were all tinted blue and the passenger side was one piece front to back. I will try to find more in my Wall O'Mags this week.

Here is what I found from May 1966 Super Stock and Drag Illustrated.

I don't know about the headliner. Some of those A/FX cars still had a white headliner in them. I would guess that this car has the trunk paint on it. I will look for more pics.

Thanks Andy! Great pics -- keep them coming if you find more! Have a happy new year!

I just scanned and loaeded a bunch of articles to my Fotki album. Please feel free to harvest whatever you want from there. If you want full size scans and have a good interenet connection I can e-mail them. There were no more clues to the interior other than that they put in their own aluminum firewall and floorboards. The car is unique for Sox & Martin in that it was their only car to run a tube front axle, no front brakes and no radiator. They wanted to get it to be as light as the tube frame fiberglass flip-up Comets.
