Longbow Posted December 30, 2009 Posted December 30, 2009 (edited) Well after lurking & reading on this site for a time I decided to try my hand @ building a plastic model. This is my second attempt, the first one got it's little self put back in the box. I choose this 32 Ford roadster Revell model because I thought that it was just too cool. Thanks to all who share their expertise on this site in order to help beginners like myself. I built this kit straight out of the box except for the tires & rims which came from an AMT Vicky kit that I bought just for the wheels. Any constructive criticism would be appreciated. See 3rd post for pic. I went a little brain dead. Thanks in advance. Gary Thomason Edited December 30, 2009 by Longbow
weasel Posted December 30, 2009 Posted December 30, 2009 (edited) congrats, and good choice on the kit...nice easy build...just build it 'box stock' with paint some detail, simple paint job, not some wild 4-5 color deal...use the KISS principle when building, makes it easier...post some pics when ya get close... Longbow Posted December 30, 2009 Author Posted December 30, 2009 Hey guys ,just click onto the pic for a larger view.
Ryan S. Posted December 30, 2009 Posted December 30, 2009 Looks good. You can't got wrong with red for those '32's. Nice choice of rims too, I might have to look for that kit just to get some of those!
John Goschke Posted December 30, 2009 Posted December 30, 2009 Nice job! Photos could still be a little larger, even in the larger view. 1000 pixels wide at 72 ppi is ideal.
