Guest JamesDE Posted December 30, 2009 Posted December 30, 2009 Here's the latest from me This is the Revell kit. I originally was gonna just do a clean beach cruiser, but then I got to thinking that Ive never seen one bodydropped. So after weathering it, I started building a frame for it. This is where I am so far.
Guest Mustang3.8 Posted December 30, 2009 Posted December 30, 2009 Great start, James. That looks sick!
Foxer Posted December 30, 2009 Posted December 30, 2009 Now THAT'S the way to get around the multi-piece body, paint issue... just build your own frame! Really looking good so far.
Tom Kren Posted December 30, 2009 Posted December 30, 2009 needs to st a bit lower LOL Looking good so far nice job on the frame!
whale392 Posted December 30, 2009 Posted December 30, 2009 Awesome job on the weathering....has a real 'surfrod' feel to it. Toss that puppy on some bags and blast some 'Men at Work' and you're golden!
CB Posted December 31, 2009 Posted December 31, 2009 So cool that we have this here 'On the workbench' so's we can eyeball all the WIP pics That frame is awesome lookin'! Love the body too, as is I do wonder, tho, what it would look like if'n it was sectioned a bit hmm... might hafta try that myself Keep up the good work! Lookin' forward to seein' more of that frame!
Guest JamesDE Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 Thanks fellas for the comps. CB, I like your way of thinking. Its too bad I already got this bad boy weathered up, or I would try sectioning it myself. Oh well, there is always a next time.
