PsychoD Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 Hi folks!... Just wondering what you guys would recommend for me... I wanna do a 1953 pontiac 4 doors... Could you tell me if there are any conversion kits... or is scratchbuilding is the best (and only) option!?! Thanks and I hope to have wonderful discussions with you guys! D
MrObsessive Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 Welcome aboard! Hmmmm.........I can't think of any kit that's readily available for something like that. :?: TKM may offer something similar...........his stuff can be found (at times) on eBay, but his quality is, well..........let's say "challenging" at best. As far as scratchbuilding, Monograms old '53 Chevy kit would be a good starting point as they shared the same basic bodyshell for '53. The Poncho's wheelbase would be longer by a few inches though.

You'd actually direct someone to TKM? He'd be better off starting with a bar of soap! Bill's right, though... I can't think of any that have been produced. Good luck on that search... and welcome to the MCM forum!
PsychoD Posted December 21, 2006 Author Posted December 21, 2006 Thanks guys for the help!... really appreciate it!... Does TKM have a website?... I need some soap bars!... Dan
