Martsmodels Posted December 31, 2009 Posted December 31, 2009 Hi - my last completed model this year was this 1/16 MPC Corvette inspired by one which I saw at a meet whilst on holiday in the U.S. Paint is Hiroboy's Zero Porsche Slate Gray and Polar Silver and was the first time I'd tried it. I also used their two pack clear for the first time and am quite pleased with the result but I struggled with it a bit and guess it could be better. Dash instrument bezels are from turned alloy tube and the lights, front and rear, operate by lifting the stalk on the steering column which turns a cam behind the dash to close the switch. Overall not a bad kit if you ignore some minor fit problems that you would expect from one of this age. Hope you like. Martin
Harry P. Posted December 31, 2009 Posted December 31, 2009 Nice! I really like the subtle silver/gray/white top color combination.
Sixties Sam Posted December 31, 2009 Posted December 31, 2009 A beauty! Nice color combo, kind of understated and elegant. Working lights? Wow! Nice work! Sam
