LUKE'57 Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 .........I was filling up the thermos and loading the race car to try out the new test track hidden way back in the woods. Here she is about daybreak this morning all loaded up and ready to go. Do you know how hard it is to tie down a trailer and not take your hands out of your pockets? I've got a pretty good shot of "Ol' Yeller" at speed that I'll post later.
Nick Winter Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 I love your builds and photo's there all so cool.
Tony T Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 Couldn't have been that cold. Top's down on the black Chebby...Hey, have they paved closer to the shop? Seems like the county moved the road closer. I love your set up, Jerry. You gave me a lot of inspiration for my shop. I haven't played with PS at all...
Harry P. Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 The fence looks very realistic... how did you make it? Aluminum tube or rod for the borders? And what for the "mesh" part? I know some guys use the mesh bags that oranges come in, sprayed silver.

jphillips1970 Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 Cold morning - come to Wisconsin and put a set of snow tires on that car and do some snow track racing - Great build - good to see those older cars of the track - keep building them - Joe
LUKE'57 Posted January 4, 2010 Author Posted January 4, 2010 Harry, my stuff leads a hard life so it's gotta be durable. The tubing is solid rod from Home Depot and the mesh is metal from an air cleaner element from a real car. Wire twists just like the real fences to hold it on.
