vintageiron Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 The Revell '69 GTO Judge kit offers a cool little extra; parts to make a '68 GTO. The only problem being that the '68 interior is different then the 69 GTO... I wish someone would make a correct interior bucket, seats, and dash for the 1/24 kit. On ebay I've seen a nice set of photo etched parts for the 68 GTO. I also wish someone would cast different bumpers for the 68-69. 68 non-hide-away grill (Yes this was available is 1968), 68 open hide-aways, 69 non-hide-away grill, 69 open hide-aways, and a Le Mans Tempest grill/ bumper would be cool too.

Sounds like you've got some scratchbuilding to do. I tried to find headlights for the '69 grille (non-hideways), but the bezels are so small in scale once they're fit inside the grille that there's not much material left to work with. Is the '68 rear bumper Revell supplies in correct, or were you asking for a chrome front bumper only?
kevin Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 we make an MPC 69 interior, without the headrests it would be a 68 interior, would that work?
vintageiron Posted January 4, 2010 Author Posted January 4, 2010 we make an MPC 69 interior, without the headrests it would be a 68 interior, would that work? The stitching on door panels and seats are different in the 68. Noticeably different. The seats out of the MPC 70 GTO are closer to the 68's straight stitching on the seats. The 69 has these funny 'Y' shapes on the doors and seats.
