Hi.....I was wondering if you can use clear coat over dry transfer pinewood derby decals? I have a project that I want to do using them on a car body and applying clear coat over them....What clear is recommended to do so?.....Thanks! Mark

My best luck has been to do as Mark said , put them on a decal sheet . Then I will clear over with Testors clear laquer, never a problem ! Ed Shaver

Hi Ed! and Hi to all those who sent replies...Thank you for the input, The project is my version of a 71 duster demon instead of using a dart body. And for a funny car project...I will have to try the tips when I get around to them....Thanks! Mark

I did Clear coat over some years ago. but I tested first like some one else has sugested. It was also just Testors clear enamel
