Hi all! Next month im taking a bus up to Maryland and back. I was wondering if anybody knew if you could take basic modeling supplies on a bus? Like, the model itsself, superglue,a hobby knife, sandpaper. stuff like that.

Thanks,Jeff.

It should be ok, if you pack the items in your luggage. I don't think you can take it on the bus as carry on.

But you should be ok.

BTW, Happy belated Birthday Jeff. Have a good trip.

You might wanna be careful, since a guy here in Canada got his head chopped off on a Greyhound bus.

Every couple years my wife and I go to Kansas City To the Heartland Nationals on the bus. The last time(two years ago) I brought all my model and supplies that I bought on the bus in a shopping bag and no-one said a word(had to change buses in Denver and no problem). Did end up having to talk modelcars with some people on the bus though. B) Richard

Are you sure you weren't driving a metallic pea green wagon with wood sides?

TSA hasn't screwed up busses or trains yet, too much.

That said, if you have your luggage in the under-floor storage, they shouldn't complain too much one way or the other anyway, as you can't really access it.
