bitner Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 Here's some pics of my in progress International self loader logging truck. My dad built the self loader unit for me as a birthday present. It's fully functional in all respects. He's started making them as projects now so hopefully he'll get me another. It's really cool that it all works. I stretched the frame in two places, and added the trailer lifting device behind the bunks. It's actually a lot bigger than I thought it would be.
Tony Bryan Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 Now that is some seriously nice scratchbuilding with the lifter, I will look forward to seeing more of this well detailed project
mackinac359 Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 Cool! Excellent use of a left over fuel tank. Tim
chuckyr Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 Nice work. Your dad made the self-loader? Post some of his models!
rronning84 Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 That is going to be an awesome truck. I will take one of the loaders.
stangman Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 This is going to be another awesome logger!!!!
studioman3 Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 That is a sweet looking loggin truck, very nice scratch building by your dad, it compliments the truck for sure Tim
bitner Posted January 25, 2010 Author Posted January 25, 2010 Thanks guys: I sent dad the link to this site and others, he said he will probably join when he gets a camera that takes good pictures. The truck is coming along nicely. It's black and white, with a 350 Cummings and Spicer aux transmission. It's a twin stick now:) Cheers: Bill
