purple pond and bondo

hey guys

i have a model im working on that i screwed up the paint on pretty bad

i want to take it of by putting it in a baggy with some easy off oven

now, here is my question, i had to do some extensive body work to make the wheels fit and i also molded the bumper and rollpan

will the easy off effect the bondo and putty underneath ?

Yes it will.

Yes but Id rather redo the putty work than have it show back up after paint a few months down the road. I have seen putty that survived the purple pond look good for a few months then just fall out later on.

Yes, I have had it happen.

...but, if it's virgin plastic with NO paint, the bondo WILL stick, won't look pretty, but, some sandpaper...

if you put bondo over primer, yes, it will come off [with brake fluid anyway..]
