Nick Winter Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 (edited) hey guys this is something I thought I'd share, if you build factory stocks, then go to thrift stores or ask around for old National Geographics, I can tell you each one will have atleast one cool ad, today I lucked in, my cousin cleaned out my Uncles house and found a stack of National Geographics from 1959-1983, I found ads from the Big 3 from all of there divitions, Tractor ads, Boat ad's, Coca Cola Ad's, ETC, later I'll scan a few to show to You fella's. Nick Winter Posted February 11, 2010 Author Posted February 11, 2010 Well as promised here's a few scans, I've got close to fifty more ads, and a couple Magazines still to go through.
Longbox55 Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 The Saturday Evening Post is another good source for those ads as well, plus they tend to be a much larger size that National Geographic.
Jordan White Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 Here's a site I posted in the 1:1 reference section which has both magazine ads and brochures, from the 20's up until today. http://www.lov2xlr8.no/broch1.html
