Not sure if this will work, the whole photo posting thing... but I'll give it a shot :( This was built "in memory" of my father, who passed away in 1998 ~ he bought this car new for $2,700 in 1970 after he got out of Vietnam. I made the model to look like his car, the only modification being the hood and some terrible engine work. I painted the roadrunner "decal" by hand since the kit's decals were different from what was needed. The air cleaner is made out of several parts, including some J-B Weld :P I did the best I could... and I'm happy with the result, the hood covers the engine bay quite well.

By the way, you can check out my other builds as well as more photos of this roadrunner here... http://www.myspace.com/thorpess as I'm familiar with myspace, this page is dedicated to my scale models. I'll be adding more there eventually, just so you know... thanks!

Hope these photos work!

hmmm... and they didn't :( Sorry

You build some nice models! I like this one particularly because it is a replica of a car that has some actual meaning .great job!

Thanks for the comments guys, this is the one model that I'm proud of... more so than the others ;) I'd like to make a resin cast of my dad in scale and have him leaning against the car one of these days, for a touch of "nostalgia" but I'm sure that would cost more than I'm willing to pay
