i finished this one up late last year.model king kit with correct slixx decals,HOK colbalt blue,duplicolor white and omini urethane clear.i glue the body together and painted it up to get rid of the seam.i added parts box goodyear decals and plug wires.other than that,its box stock.thanks for looking.

Very cool Mongoose digger....

Thos Slixx decals look very nice on there. I have a set from eBay and while they look good, not quite as nice as Slixx I imagine. But I do have the Snake one as well.

Keep building diggers. You have the knack for it.

The reissue kit decals are generic stuff that "resemble", and I use that term loosely, the original kit decals. Model King did not want to have to pay the licensing fees associated with putting the correct Hot Wheels, Coke, Goodyear, etc, decals in the kit so they had some generic looking ones made. Slixx did pay up to reproduce the original copyrighted & trademarked logos for the car thus allowing us to build correct appearing Mongoose "Hot Wheels" f/e dragsters. Now if they would only do the "Snake" decals too :lol: ..................RatPack......................

Is that a 1 Piece Resin body from Reliable Resin ?

no.i glued the body together,cut out the cowl and filled in the seams.i did the body work,primed and painted it up.i put the engine in and glued the cowl back on.
